The infrastructure is focused on evaluating the impact of drought, increased temperature and management (mulching or mowing and biomass removal) on the species diversity of the mountain meadow ecosystem, and morphological, production, physiological and biochemical parameters of selected plant species. The infrastructure consists of automatic rain-out shelters (roll-out awnings) that provide simulation of drought (elimination of rainfall) and elevated temperature. The infrastructure is equipped with continuous measurement of soil moisture and air temperature in the stand.
