The mission of the DEW is the presentation of living material (plants and animals), technologies used in plant and animal breeding, methods and techniques of their reproduction, which are commonly found and used in the agricultural and environmental sectors. Extensive experimental activities take place at these workplaces, there are numerous experiments for students' final theses, for scientific projects, applied research and cooperation with practice. DEW also provides important biological material for the needs of the faculty. It consists of Demonstration and experimental fields, Demonstration and experimental stables, and Demonstration and experimental greenhouses.
