FoodPlant infrastructure is equipped with all necessary equipment for fruit & vegetables, cereals & flours and meat processing. For fruits & vegetables processing, the pilot has a technological flow for producing canned and dried food products: cutting machine, cooking kettle, pulper refiner, colloidal mill, vacuum bowl concentrator, system for dosing and sealing containers, steam generator, dehydration system, electric dryer, so on, accompanied by installations for storage in time/temperature conditions the raw materials and ingredients and final products. The pilot has also a laboratory for quality testing of intermediary products during processing. For cereal and flours processing, the pilot consists of small and medium capacity baking facilities (ovens with proofer, as well as pasta and pastries facilities) and 2 pilot mills, a whole grain mill and an extruder.
