About installation
DATA PRO instllation, provided by CIHEAM Bari, allows software development, statistical analysis, modelling, impact assessment and bioinformatics. Basic and multivariate statistical analysis, modelling of eco-efficiency, evaluation of irrigation performance, monitoring of water and solute movement in soil are available. It provides bioinformatic analyses of nucleic acids/protein sequences of plant pathogens, identification of library sequences for molecular evolutionary genetics analysis. It hosts a collection of Virosphere metagenomic data from different environmental conditions for establishing a collection of well-characterized Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) of a class of bacteria-specific viruses (Bacteriophages), and a WGS-Hub, where Minion Nanopore technology is used to evaluate the sanitary status of certifiable plant genetic germplasm with resistance challenging harmful biotic agents in EU agriculture.
