EMPHASIS is a Researxh Infrastructure that facilitate the multiscale plant phenotyping to analyse genotype performance and quantify the diversity of crop traits in diverse environments and agricultural management practices. By integrating the European plant phenotyping infrastructures, EMPHASIS will enable access to the facilities, data and resources to advance basic and applied plant science required and enhance breeding of sustainable crops with higher quantity and quality of yield and agricultural management practices as a cornerstone for sustainable and resilient agriculture, food security and European bio-economy in times of changing climate and increased pressures on agricultural soils.
