About Service

Our services on anaerobic digestion provide R&D resources and methodologies for replacement of current linear approaches into circular models, revealing potential of agri-food residues & cover crops as a feedstock and their role in closing loops of raw materials, nutrients, carbon and water.

Specific informations

Our pilots allow the evaluation of methane potential of biomass and waste streams (m3 of CH4/ton of organic matter, kinetics, etc.) and composting. Digestate characterisation provide useful information for an optimal C and nutrients recycling through its use as fertilizer; in particular the Organic Matter Bioaccessibility Index (ISBaMO®), an in-house developed tool that predicts the anaerobic (methane potential) and aerobic (soil carbon mineralization) biodegradability of ORPs (Organic Residual Products) and their biodegradation kinetics.

- Pretreatment technologies for substrates' biodegradability enhancement

- Anaerobic digesters (1L to 100L) adapted to agro & agri-food residues in controlled conditions and online monitoring

- Analytical resources for anaerobic digesters monitoring (VFA, biogas, TKN...) and susbstrates characterization (physic-chemical, biochemical, microbiological), InfraRed & fluorescence
