About Service

The ARGo chips that we propose allow you to access a catalog of 382 ARG's markers available "à la carte". We use the smartchip system to perform gene detection on your samples via high-throughput qPCR (Sybr green), until 5184 Ct per run. We also realize the pre-analysis of these qPCR to sort quickly the correct results. You will find all informations on our website.

CONFIGURATIONS

The smartchip system we use to realize this service has the particularity to propose several types of configuration playing on the quantity of samples processed vs. the quantity of markers of interest. ARGo chips have several imposed formats. We recommend the use of configurations with only 3 technical replicates for preliminary screening tests. We remain at your disposal to help you choose the right configuration.

TOGA

TOGA (currently in version 1.2) is an R script which aims at sorting the ARGs which are correctly detected during an ARGo run. It allows to process more quickly the numerous results provided by the Smartchip system (up to 5184 data) by checking among others the machine analysis, the amplitudes of the curves or their growths. We also apply common criteria to ARGs studies to ensure proper detection, for example by applying a maximum 27 Ct limit. The use of TOGA is designed to work when the number of technical replicas provided by the ARGo service is respected (3 or 5). In the case of exceptional arrangements, an additional TOGA run will be required, resulting in an additional cost.
