About Service

Set of fungal strains: The set of strains proposed in this TNA will be selected from the catalog of the CIRM BRCs: CIRM-CF: filamentous fungi for biotechnological applications. The selection will be done by the BRC staff according to the research and applied objectives sought by the user and taking into account the metadata associated with the strains.

Unit of access: Unit of access consists of a set of 10 strains from one BRC.  Applicants will be asked to fulfill all legal requirements for access to biological materials particularly with regard to biosafety obligations. An MTA will be asked to be signed by the applicants. The TNA will cover the cost of shipping the materials.

Support offered: Users will gain access to a large catalog of more than 3,000 fungal strains, and will beneficiate of the technical and scientific expertise of the BRCs staff of the CIRM for questions related to the conservation, propagation and  technological and biological activity potential of the microbiological resources. Depending of the scientific question, dedicated analyses of genomic information could be performed and choice of strains can be orientated to strains which have been fully sequenced.
