Specific informations

The team has an extensive experience on developing questionnaires and analyzing results in models of deliberative action, including variables such as: cognitive, affective, and behavioral attitudes, motivation, social norms, emotions, attachment, desire, self-efficacy, intentions, behaviors, etc.

Data can be gathered and analysis produced at a territorial (country, region, cross-comparisons) or at the value chain level.

Besides the models of deliberative action based on volitions and self-efficacy, preferences, choices, and behaviors can be analyzed by including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, trade-offs between productivity losses, profitability, costs, and ecologically and socially responsible behaviors.

These services can provide several benefits for users:

  • Identify and understand factors hindering or enhancing sustainability and agroecological transition from the perspective of farmers, consumers, firms, advisors, and other relevant stakeholders accounting for socio-geographical contexts and actors’ profiles.
  • Support the design of good-fitted sustainability and agroecological transition paths accounting for contexts and resources of the actors, value chains, and territories.
  • Enhance the sustainability of global farm and food systems by acting at the local and regional levels.
