The plasma reactors can be also used for food and packaging, in biology and medicine (water cleaning, cardiovascular implants, wound dressings, sterilization, etc.) and nanoscience (nanocomposites, complex nanostructures, such as nanowires, nanowalls, nanocones, etc.).  Some materials can also be made oleophobic.
