About installation
EMBRC-France, is the French node of the European Marine Biological Resource Centre (EMBRC-ERIC). It is operated by Sorbonne Université (SU, coordinator) and the French National Research Council (CNRS). EMBRC-France offer is distributed on the marine stations Station Biologique de Roscoff (SBR), Institut de la Mer de Villefranche (IMEV) and the Observatoire Océanologique de Banyuls-sur-Mer (OOB), and comprises 23 different services (collections, platforms and services). Our mission is to support the research on marine organisms and ecosystems in order to promote their exploration and sustainable exploitation and valorisation. EMBRC-France offers access to marine ecosystems and marine biological resources, and to highly specialized technical platforms, located in the same marine biological stations. The know-how, the equipment and the resources are open and available to academic and non-academic users.
