The Geomatics Laboratory is characterized as a research and application center for geospatial techniques, focused on the use and innovation of methodologies and technologies in the field of geomatic sciences applied to agroecosystems. The structure and instrumentation of the laboratory are designed to facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration and synergy among different expertise, creating dynamic and stimulating environments for research and technological innovation in various aspects primarily related to modern agriculture. The main objective of the laboratory is to deepen and expand knowledge in areas such as proximal and remote sensing, unmanned aerial drone platforms, geographic information systems (GIS), and territorial mapping systems within the context of agrosystems.
